Qualified from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been working as Head of the Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Department in the first Referral clinic in Athens, Greece. Clinical interests include canine and feline gastroenterology/ hepatology, clinical nutrition as well as diagnostic and interventional endoscopy in companion animals. She holds a MSc Cell and Gene Therapies, Medical school, University of Patras (2023), GPCertificate in Small Animal Internal Medicine (2009), a GPCertificate in Endoscopy and Endo-surgery (2010) by the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies and a PgCert in Small Animal Medicine (2015) from Harper Adams University.
She is a member of the Veterinary Endoscopy Society (VES), the European Society of Comparative Gastroenterology (ESCG) and the Comparative Gastroenterology Society(CGS). She has been passionate in providing continuing veterinary education events to students, Universities, Ministry organizations and Veterinary associations. She has been an invited speaker to international congresses in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia region and a trainer in endoscopy labs.
She has created the Aohua VET channel in YouTube in cooperation with AOHUA company, and provides free educational videos on various endoscopic procedures. She has visited with Reading Education Assistance Dogs more than 150 schools in Greece, establishing educational programs for primary school students. Former Vice President of Middle East and Africa Veterinary Congress (MEAVC)(2021-2023), bringing to the MENA Region the first CPD Accredited congress by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education VetCEE (Veterinary Continuing Education Europe) and the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education).
